plus Sunday Markets
see here our Christmas opening hours
The Dublin Food Co-op operates four times a week, Wednesday through Sunday. Our busiest day is Saturday. We provide a unique blend of wholefood shop, Producer Members stalls, community café, and social hub - all under one roof.
We also host weekly Sunday Markets and our full wholefood and household range is also available on these dates with a selection of fresh fruit & vegetables.
From 24 May 2017, you will able to shop by weight and package free. Bring your own containers along to buy just what you need and pay by weight, to avoid your bins over-flowing, from the Zero Waste stall.
The stall will begin selling 15 different products, ranging from items like quinoa (grown in UK), spices, jumbo oats, cleaning products and more. New products will be added all the time, so suggestions welcome.
This stall will be open Wednesday to Saturdays. If you're looking for more information, or to volunteer on the stall contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Saturdays (9.30am - 5pm) - DFC market
Our main Saturday opening offers a vibrant setting and convivial atmosphere. Each week, hundreds of members drop by to shop. Many stick around to eat, chat, and enjoy our café. Dublin Food Co-op is family-friendly so bring the kids! And while we love all creatures great and small, unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside due to health & safety regulations.
Dublin Food Co-op's dry goods area offers a wide selection of organic food and sustainable household and living products. On Saturdays, you'll find more than 20 Producer Members selling a varied range of food and non-food items like prepared food, fruit & veg, bread, cheese, olive oil, jewelry, and books. Many items are organic and our Producer Members are happy to share detailed sourcing information with you.
Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (10am - 7pm -until 8pm on thursday) - Co-op and café
Thursdays & Fridays offer a more chilled co-op experience. The Thursday Cafe serves hot food and drinks throughout every day, but closes at 6:30 on Wednesday and Friday; and has a play area for young children. Nature Cures (naturopath-herbalist) now comes in on Thursdays and Fridays too! The dry goods area is open as normal and the co-op sells its own selection of fruit, vegetables and eggs.
Regular and one-off events are held during or after our Thursday and Friday openings.
Our dry goods area is open 11am-5pm during all Sunday Markets.
