Job Title: Vegetable Sales Supervisor

Reporting to: General Manager via Operations Manager/Deputy Operations Manager

Location: 12 Newmarket Dublin 8

Hours: As required

Wage: €14.13 per hour

Function To support the efficient operation of fresh vegetable sales to co-operative members.

Duties and Responsibilities

List of major tasks and main elements of the job.

1. Ordering fresh vegetables from suppliers
2. Arranging vegetables for display, taking out and storing as required (may involve lifting weights up to 18kg)
3. Till operation and supervision with overall responsibility
4. Managing relief staff as required
5. Ensuring production of cash and till reports for book-keeper and General Manager in conjunction with Till supervisor
6. Deputising for Deputy Operations Manager as required

Personnel Specification

Qualifications- Level 3/4 in Operations Management or equivalent (desirable)
and/or
Experience- substantial experience in cash-handling
experience in fresh vegetable sales
experience of a co-operative working environment (desirable)
