Co-op people


Volunteer energy from owner-members is at the heart of the Co-op - from day-to-day operations like shelf-stacking through social events to policy and strategic development. Ultimate decisions rest with members through an Annual General Meeting (AGM) and other democratic structures.

Co-ordinating Body (CB)

The Co-op's Co-ordinating Body (CB) is group of member-directors, elected at the AGM, who steer the overall direction of the Co-op between general meetings:

Staff

A team of full and part time staff members look after a range of administrative and operational roles:

Our Producer Members operate stalls on Saturdays:

Sunday Markets

The organisers of Sunday Markets bring added events and colour to the Co-op venue. While retaining their identity as independent events, at least one of the organisers of each market is a Co-op member and we encourage all members to develop new events at the venue.
